Registries and census: Application to register the registration and identification number of economic operators (EORI) or EORI-NIF association.
Customs procedure to register operators in the census of registration and identification numbers of economic operators, or to associate a fiscal identification number assigned by the AEAT with an EORI number assigned by another Member State.
Applicant: Company - Citizen
The application is not subject to a specific format and does not require any additional documentation except for justification of the power of attorney, if applicable.
Initial step. Submission of the application through the Virtual Customs and Excise Office or in writing addressed to any customs and excise office. Formalities. The Customs and Excise Department will grant the requested registration/association after verifying the centralised system managed by the European Commission and verifying that the operator has not previously been registered. End. Granting or denial of the requested registration/association.

Reconsideration: Application period: One month. Optional and filed with the office that made the administrative decision to be appealed, stating that no economic-administrative claim has been lodged against it.
Economic-administrative claim: Application period: One month from the day following the notification of the contested decision or the day on which the proceedings or prior motion for reversal is deemed to be resolved. It shall be addressed to the administrative body that made the appealable decision.
